How to get rid of cellulite?

What is cellulite?
Cellulite is a grouping of fat cells under the skin. It is responsible for the "orange peel" effect. Generally, we can notice it on the buttocks, thighs, stomach and arms.
MORE THAN 60% OF WOMEN ARE AFFECTED BY CELLULITE
AS WELL AS A LOSS OF SKIN FIRMNESS
Types of cellulite
1- Fibrous cellulite: painful and hard to the touch, it is sometimes slightly purplish and padded. It is most often found on the thighs, buttocks and hips;
2- Adipose cellulite: soft, thick, painless: it attacks the stomach, thighs, buttocks;
3- Aqueous cellulite: soft and diffuse, it is not painful, and it often goes hand in hand with water retention and the sensation of heavy legs.

What causes cellulite?
It can appear under the effect of hormonal surges: at puberty, after pregnancy, or at the time of menopause.
Also, it is possible that this ''orange peel'' effect is due to a genetic factor.
Your lifestyle, rich diet and lack of physical activity play an important role in the formation of these fat cells.
Unfortunately, with age, skin aging is accompanied by a degradation of collagen. This causes a slackening of the skin tissue.
What are the solutions?

1- Have a healthy and balanced diet
Drink plenty of water to eliminate toxins and reduce aqueous cellulite.
Choose your food well:
Among the recommended foods, we find green tea, fruits and vegetables, nuts, avocados and asparagus.
Foods to avoid include cheeses rich in salt, bread, deli meats, refined sugar and table salt.

2- Be active!
Physical activity allows us to firm up our bodies and lose fat.
In Canada, the recommended number of steps is 10,000 per day. If you reach this number, you are considered an active person. That being said, the more we move, the more we reduce our risk of getting cellulite!
Swimming, cycling and intense circuit training are three sports that will help firm the body and reduce "orange peel" skin.

3- Massages
The most effective way to remove cellulite is to massage the affected areas to reduce water retention and eliminate toxins.
Some examples of effective manual massages: lymphatic drainage, kneading and palpating.
To dislodge fatty deposits, we also recommend tools such as suction cups, scorpion brushes or rollers with massage.

4- Products
First of all, it is important to start with a good exfoliation of our body. Exfoliation will activate the circulation and remove dead skin in order to facilitate the absorption of creams. Ex:
Renaissance Gloves
Janssen Oxygenating Body Scrub
Adorable exfoliating gloves
 Karin Herzog  scrub

A good daily body moisturizer will improve skin texture and increase the effectiveness of treatment creams. Ex:
Janssen Body Cream ACE
Cuccio Body Butter Milk and Honey

Let's talk about anti-cellulite creams! Their primary goal is to fight cellulite and dimpled skin in a targeted manner. After a few weeks, it will also be possible to observe the slimming effect that these creams provide. Ex:
Janssen Contouring Cream
Janssen Body Contour Booster
Karin Herzog Body Kit

Certain essential oils, such as grapefruit and lemon, have been proven to reduce cellulite. It is possible to add 1 to 2 drops in our cream before proceeding with the massage.

5- At the esthetician's
Ask your esthetician about spa treatments. Several options are available to you; from draining massages to high-tech equipment can be effective in fighting cellulite and reshaping the silhouette.
